June 20 (2-9pm) 'Shoot & Edit Funshop'

Location: Upland

This event will include the use of both SM indoor studios (see studio photos on MM page) with several outdoor (available light) shooting locations, showcasing 5 models with 8 photographers invited. The shooting portion of funshop starts at 2pm, with 6 indoor studio backgrounds and 2 pocket wizard equipped power supplies in studios. Outdoors will be a mini-trampoline (outdoor model jumping shots) and 1 Harley Davison with large muslin background covering full length of the bike.

Photographers are welcome to invite models to this event, but all model invites must be approved by me before confirmation. The photography section of the funshop will finish at 7:30 with the arrival of FREE Hawaiian pizza for everyone from Round Table Pizza. The editing portion of funshop begins at 8pm (see details below). Models outfits include sexy clubwear, swimsuits and lingerie (no nudity but implied is OK). Models receive a generous gas money allowance, free Hawaiian pizza & free images. Models MUST sign MM releases for all photographers attending. Total photographer cost is $80, includes 5 hours of studio usage, outdoor props and shooting time with all 5 models attending. Here are photographer's equipment requirements:

For shooting, photographers must bring a DSLR camera (Canon/Nikon/Pentax/Olympus) and lenses with recommended focal lengths of 14-200mm. The outdoor shots will be available light with reflectors provided, but you are welcome to bring a defused on camera strobe, or remote triggered strobe kits. Bring one pocket wizard for indoor studio strobe sync. For the image editing portion of the funshop, photographers must bring a notebook computer and their favorite image editing software pre-loaded.

During the image editing portion of the funshop, photographers are welcome to share some of their 'photoshopping tips & tricks' editing skills with other photographers attending. Models are welcome to attend the edit portion of the funshop to watch their images turn into digital masterpieces ready to publish to the web. I will be providing some tips & tricks on the 2 (free download) software programs I use... 'PhotoBrush' and 'Photo Dynamic HDR'. All the images on my MM port have been edited with this software. This is a VERY small scale event, with several model & photographer openings still available. If you are interested in attending, shoot me some mail and I'll save you a spot for the first annual 'SM Shoot & Edit Funshop'.
